Sing your little hearts out

I had the opportunity to attend my 3 year old niece's Christmas Pageant. All the children were adorable. While I was video-taping her group, she looks over at me and shouts out "Aunt Chrissy where's Jesse and Jarrett? That was so unexpected! However, they all did pretty good and I was impressed at how they could remember most of the words. Two thumbs up for all those brave kiddies.

Rain,Rain,Rain

Well Christmas is almost here and still we have no snow and it does not look hopeful that there will be any on Christmas Day. I like to  see the ground white just for this day but keep the roads safe to  travel on for all the loved ones coming home. There has been alot of rain though and when this happens my yard and my neighbour's yard look like a lake.

Autumn Leaves

Here is a video of Windsor, Ontario during the autumn season. Looks like autumn season is admired all over Ontario. When I think of autumn, I can't help but think about Thanksgiving and having all my family around to celebrate and give thanks. This year, we had our Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday and the weather was fantastic. I found a delicious recipe for sweet potatoes and apples, Very yummy! I took family pictures under a maple tree with bright golden leaves.  The colours are so vibrant and the pictures look great. I really enjoy having all the family over for every special occasion. Here are some pictures of my boys having fun in the fall and my niece enjoying her first experience in a pile of leaves.

falling leaves

It is now November and all the leaves have fallen. All those magnificent colours that were visible in October have disappeared. The trees seem to be lifeless as winter approaches. The beach is quiet and empty. Now we will have to wait for another year to pass by before we are able to admire this beauty.

autumn leaves

Hello everyone. The most spectacular view in the fall season is found in the northern part of Ontaro. Starting about mid-September, the leaves start changing colour. Because there is quite a variety of trees, the scenery is breath-taking! However, if you can't visit the north then just take in the views available in our rural areas. Fall is absolutely the most beautiful time of the year!
